    About the Author

Matheun Hallwryte is a British writer whose work examines the architecture of the mind and the weight of the things we refuse to forget. Influenced by the textures of classical England and the clinical realities of psychology, he is driven by the belief that the plausible is always more terrifying than the paranormal. His stories explore the unseen forces that shape us and the quiet fractures that sometimes break us.

Hallwryte defines his writing style as Psycho-Gothic, where traditional atmospheric dread meets modern psychology. He takes the architecture of classical Gothic and moves it entirely inward. The decaying manor is replaced by the claustrophobia of a fracturing mind. The ghosts are replaced by the very real symptoms of mental decline. And ultimately, the slow horror comes from the psychological walls his characters build to survive and the tragedy of becoming trapped inside them.
